Ok, maybe yesterday's 1kg drop wasn't an anomaly after all. I ate pizza for dinner last night for the first time since starting my health kick 5 weeks ago. This time i ate 2 slices instead of 6-8. And i didn't really enjoy it-the crust tasted bland and stale, the salami was pretty meh. I'm thinking next time i want pizza I'll make it myself with the flat bread I learned to make a few weeks ago. Seems kinda weird that pizza has lost its appeal, considering up until the end of September '22 i was eating it at least once a week! 💚

I ate Pizza Capers last week, I used to love it but now it seems so gross, I felt so yuck afterwards. Homemade is the best 😋

I’ve made one pizza so far, vegetarian, made on a flatbread and loaded with the right stuff, but the base gave way and I had to eat it with a fork and then a spoon! All the same it was not a bad meal - tasted great, kept within my macronutrient limits (<25% carbs) and - well, the calories almost came out right. You can always fast the following day 🤭 I spotted a low carb pizza base in the supermarket, I’ll give that a try next time.

Spicehorn: thanks, yes seeing the total kg gone steadily increasing is definitely motivating. Jomo: I think you might be the only person in history to eat pizza with a spoon 🤣 I used to make them with the greek style flat breads, and with minimal topping, otherwise it can go soggy and fall apart. Since my homemade flat bread is the same style in going to experiment. I'll keep you posted.
