I need to start this journey again to try and improve my health. fed up if having painful hips and knees at just 31.

its hard to find the motivation isn't it? i think we all know that you have to drag something from inside our minds to make us get going. of course i want to look slim and buy nice little sizes and all that but actually what's become increasingly important is staying alive as healthily as possible. i fall off the wagon regularly and eat crisps and chocolate etc etc etc but right now am on the wagon...hopefully for a while. i have tried everything over the years and always believe lbs would stay off but never that easy. my worst was stones overweight but not quite that bad now and never been as bad again as at my worst. so it seems to me you just need to think about less knee pain, feeling healthier and better in yourself. you can enjoy the little wins but dont worry about the mistakes or days you get it wrong. just keep going steadily. you can do it. we can all do it. but it takes time to put weight on when you aren't eating well so it will take a while to make progress. just remember every time you lose a lb its a lb you havent put on. and more importantly every lb off helps that knee!!! good luck

Removing processed foods helps a lot of people with joint pain. Plus removing the processed carbs helps alleviate cravings. Wishing you success on your quest.

I wish you all success and patience with your weight loss journey! We do have ups and downs. But the main thing is not to give up. This is a slow process. My weight used to be 120 kg 2 years ago. I am now around 93 kg. My weight for a long period of time went up till 105 and down 98 and up again. But you need to have patience and friends who can support you throughout your weight loss journey. All the best! ❤️

Sweetheart at your age I was (129.9) went down to (73kgs) then eventually (63kgs) so it can be done … ever since my accident that caused considerable damage left me with a brain injury & permanent Disability have had an issue with weight & lack of exercise I used food as an emotional aid coming to terms with everything and learning to accept it …. When I turned 30 at my heaviest I decided to stop self pity why me all of that stuck with it … managed to be 63 kgs even then I found that it didn’t look good on me looked unwell so my ideal weight then was 68kgs Cut the long story short now at (49) I still believe it can be done … so dispute everyone else I didn’t give up or give in … that’s why I feel ur frustration good luck u can do this sorry for the long reply just wanted to explain the best way I can it can be done xxx good luck

You can do this there is wonderful support on here we are all on a journey I have a disability and other health issues and have been overweight and underweight always here willing to help and support if needed or wanted ❤️good luck
