take as much dietary protein as possible. protein keeps you fuller for a long time. and for sugar,it can't be helped.i have completely given up sugar but sometimes it just so happens that I wanna eat up the entire sugar container. try to keep your sugar intake upto 1tsp/day. even tho 1tsp=16cals, it might not seem like much but sugar has a high glycemic index. basically your body quickly stores this calories instead of using it for energy. so you start seeing WT gain when you consume lots of sugar.
