week 34 day 5: maintained this weight all week. Today, we look at another house for my dad. His flight is scheduled at the end of August. all of the kids' school supplies are bought, sorted and organized. School registration was a much simpler process this year compared to last. I've been avoiding the backyard due to hornets infesting shed, and I'm allergic to beestings. It started out with one small family, now they invited their cousins, uncles/aunts and all the extended family, like my "small" Italian family gatherings growing up. 😂 There is less on the schedule next week, grazie mille! Treadmill is still taken apart, hubs tinkered with... something motor related.. 😂 thankfully it's been cool enough to turn off air conditioning!!

Mine starts on the 19th. First time on a Monday! He starts 7th grade. Go get that spray for wasp nests and have your husband spray it from a distance during dusk when they aren’t so active. I can’t deal with those. Had a wasp nest above my front door on the porch and i sprayed the F outta it! Knocked it down after and no more buzzing!

Mine started last week— all of those kids crossing the streets while playing with their cell phone not paying the least bit of attention to where they are or where the cars are. I avoid school zones like the plague

Stern- thanks for the tip, I'll pass it on. He's been spraying during the day, and has gone thru 8 or 9 cans. They are also living in the wall of the shed..

Kenna 😩 my oldest son has a phone, but I use Google Family Link so I can keep an eye on what's he's doing with it (no violent games), it also has location tracking, which is handy. I can also lock it from my phone and he can't unlock it. Since we are in a small town and I'm home, there's no need for him to have a phone at school. I hope in time, he will establish a healthy relationship with technology. Kids are way too obsessed with social media. He kept asking to make a TikTok account- absolutely not, no... He stopped asking. I told him "look around you- this is real life. All that inside the rectangle is fake" thankfully he hasn't asked for other social media. We don't even use it.. lifes too busy.

My area has several bee keeper companies that will come and remove a hive and relocate it— for a fee, of course. I had to do that and actually learned that a huge problem is if they get into your walls. Wasps, I’m not sure what they do about that but we have many fig trees in my area and without wasps there is NO pollination. I’m not sure how that comes into play.

Yes, we will probably go that route, we called one on Friday, but they were booked through next week. Thanks for sharing. He said it sounds like the wall of the shed is vibrating with them. I've known I was allergic to beestings since I was about 7 so I'll take his word for it 😂 what I thought were flies or something all over the backyard was the hornets and ive never seen so many before!!
