Hey, scout. Is your avatar a family crest? 

No. It's just something I through together because I was a Cavalry Scout in the First Infantry Division in (West) Germany back in the end of the 1980's.  

Where were you stationed?

@Jozette99.... Panzer Kaserne, just outside of Boblingen. 

I see - too far in the South for me. I lived near Kassel ;-) 

I never made it any farther North than Giessen. I had friends from home stationed near there. 

I used to go shopping at the base in Giessen :-)
