So I've been feeling a pinch under my left scapula for about a day and a half (been seeing a chiropractor to work on muscle imbalances from the weightloss). He didn't do anything about the pain even though I told him about it. It got worse while doing power cleans today, to the point where I got a sharp pain when I tried to breathe. My trainer's house mate checked it out, turns out I had a rib out of place. Sent me to a chiropractor she knew near the gym, put it back, but I'm still in a lot of pain. Going to see how it feels tomorrow and go from there, but I was told to not exercise for at least a day :(

WOW - a rib out of place? How does that happen? Glad that was "fixed" so you can heal and rest it!

Apparently since it's just like any other joint in your body it can happen pretty easily. I may have been overcompensating with a muscle, or pulled a muscle, or any number of things, and it pops out of place. Like dislocating your finger. I still have sharp pains all over the area, and I can't really put much pressure on it, I think something muscular happened. I really take the rotator cuff and its muscles for granted.

Please let yourself rest it long enough to relieve the pain. I am still babying my Achilles tendon - it is better but not 100%
