happy ORANGUTAN day. can I please get everyone today to add something to their list of things they look at on labeling. Cal's, protein,fat, carbs..... all good stuff but it don't stop their. is it ethical food? the answer to the question big it contains palm oil is almost definitely a big fat NO. please for me, for these beautiful animals. look past what's in your food today and look at where it comes from. the food industry is slowly destroying our bodies but rapidly destroying our animal friends😓 it's beyond heart breaking

I spent some time in the sepilok orangutan rehabilitation centre, that was amazing. Seeing a family in the wild changed everything for me. The way the mum was with bubs pulled the oldheart strings something fierce. It's what got me to start volunteering with the wilderness,which lead to hanging out with greenpeace which lead me to my involvement with XR which lead to me being a corpse on the road Infront of the city morgue. 25 orangutans are being killed daily for cosmetics, and food containing palm Oil (a whopping 84% of the world's palm oil comes out of Indonesia and Malaysia) and it's getting worse for these amazing apes

Hahaha, Story of my life, it's heartbreaking when I put 100 hours of work into getting a movie played and 10 people rock up. But that's 10 people who potentially go away and think about, palm oil or single use plastics or food miles or coal/gas/oil depends on who I volunteering with.
