Baked chicken casserole. It was just three of us tonight, and this is what one son requested! The other, who "conveniently" had to go to the skate park with a friend just when supper was ready, grabbed cheese sticks instead!! NOT his favorite meal for sure. That is ok. I'm happy with leftovers, so I don't have to cook tomorrow!

Looks good! I make a chicken casserole with cream of mushroom soup and stovetop stuffing mix. I seem to use cream of mushroom soup in lots of my meals - stew, casseroles and even to make gravy when I cook a roast. Need to figure out a way to use something else besides the mushroom soup. I am such a limited cook!

Hahah, Fritzy, you and I must be sisters! Guess what was in my casserole!? 😁 I don't actually love mushroom soup, but it is a great "cheat" cooking tool sometimes in a hurry!! 😁

Melissa - I only use cream of mushroom soup for cooking - don't ever eat a bowl of it as soup. Although once I made it and poured over rice as gravy.

Oh hey now, don't get me started on hotdish! I make a zucchini casserole with cream of mushroom soup and the stovetop stuffing on top. To fritzy's point, i wonder how many ppl use cream of mushroom soup as soup. I would love that dinner party too!!

Fritzy, you will need to branch out to honor your beautiful kitchen! So many great websites and blogs out there. My roommate was scared to cook when he moved in, but now he "sous" for me until he feels comfortable with a new dish. He is building quite a repertoire! So experiment!

Getting to be a real dinner party plan! Hangry and Frizy, you coming too?! Jen and Frizy, My husband will microwave a bowl of mushroom soup with raman noodles broken up in it. YUCK! Ok, so I cooked a huge pan of the casserole in my 14.5 by 10.5 inch pan... just huge. I have eaten 1.5 cups of it and as of this moment my son has devoured all but a quarter of the pan! He had it for dinner, late night snack, and breakfast. The other son... won't touch it! Guess which one is 6"2"??!
Maybe we can have a cooking party at Frizy's! The one time I love to cook is when I'm joined by others!!!
