Dziennik gramnbear, 22 lip 08

[scribbling reminder to self] ANYTIME you're serious about being on program and losing weight, it sure does help to write down what you eat and total the darned carbs!

Yesterday I was really eating right (I thought) and had eggs with blueberries and cream for breakfast, salame and yellow bell pepper for lunch, and then I had a 25 gram TV dinner AND snap peas for dinner!! Top that off with low carb ice cream, and I was WAY, WAY over on carbs!! Not that I have to be under 20 carbs anymore most of the time, but . . . WHAT WAS I THINKING??? Actually, I was tired and looking for an easy way out at dinner time, and it's time to go to the grocery store for better veggies and stuff.

Today's another day!!

They do add up fast. It makes me wonder, if I had added up my carbs before I started Atkins, what would it have been? Probably 1,000,000000000000000000000000000000!

I tend to take the easy way out for dinner sometimes too because I want something quick and easy and just don't feel like cooking! I write down my total carbs every day because I KNOW I'd go over if I didn't. Even if I have a cheat day, I write down everything I've eaten and count the carbs. I've almost filled up a whole notebook! I wouldn't think that this one day will hurt you! Get out that notebook and write! :D

You're workin' like a demon since you returned from your holiday Gramn and maybe the automatic focus that was there before is just put to one side until you have caught up with things...and catch up you will... I'm still having fun with my notebook...its a real ready reckoner... I find myself thinking (at about 4pm) 'god have I had that many carbs already!!!' dunno how I managed without it really... Thing is.. you're totally cool and will be back on top in no time!
