Thought I'd let the community know that on Monday I started a ketogenic diet which I have committed to for the two months after which I'll check my bloods again with my doctor's supervision.
Not hungry and not drinking anything but water, black coffee and rooibos tea water too. Last night I had a funny 'turn' felt dizzy and nauseous and had to lie down until it passed. This morning I remembered the electrolyte bit and drank marmite water with my breakfast, just saying

That’s a great tip. Having marmite water. First time I heard of that as an electrolyte solution. I’m going to have to buy me some marmite and try it. I love it on toast, that’s why I haven’t been buying it.

Dill pickle juice helps to , add pink salt to your water , and take magnesium tablets , I do all that to prevent keto flu which I had in 2018 for eight days I thought I was going to die

Pickle juice may have a lot of sugar in it. Good to check. Ina Paarman stock sachets (beef or chicken) on a cup of hot water x 2 per day - all the micro nutrients you need.

@jhvr001 as i know diddly squat about micro nutrients I think I'll swap to the Ina Paarman sachets, thanks for the tip
