Didn't get a chance to record on Saturday,I need to keep track , Sunday I had a talk with my hubby and decided this going have to be a joint effort if I'm going to get any where. He doesn't need to lose as much weight as me but he has high blood pressure and needs to cut out salt and sugar in his diet. Just to make him happy about cutting sweets I told him Sunday can be a free day . I started to use herbs to season our food instead of salt to try and lower the blood pressure . Found some herb combinations that work good on different foods. For eggs combine equal parts of basil , dill weed , garlic , parsley ( I add turmeric too its good to reduce cholesterol ) For poultry combine one part oregano and two parts of marjoram , three parts sage For beef combine equal parts basil , marjoram , oregano , rosemary , sage , thyme , and savory ( have not been able to find savory ) For pork one part hot pepper or cayenne ,two parts cumin , garlic , oregano For vegetables equal parts of basil , parsley , and savory
