Looking at this journey...
I really don't think I would have made it this far with an "I'm on a diet" mentality.
I have been trying my best every day just to enjoy life with my family.
I'm still working on running and climbing with my son and that's sort of why I started this. I want to run and climb and have fun. Loosing 40kg has just made it a bit easier to do those things.
I have cheated EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. I have baked cake and cookies and had loads of braais. But during the week I've stuck to my guns. I've done my 100 sit ups, 100 push ups and light weight training daily. I have counted my calories and stayed below 1000 calories per day as far as I could. I have cycled and swam... running still eludes me but I'm working on it.

This is simple.
Don't diet. DON'T!!!
Change.
Change your eating
Change your excersice routine
Change your mindset
You will change. Every part of you will change.
YOU CAN CHANGE.🙏

So…. So far I can only manage 20 push ups and 20 sit ups… 100!!! Of each that’s impressive given we’re the same size now. Well done. I wonder how you do it.

I’d appreciate the encouragement as I too am pushing hard for 90 as my next milestone. I’m proud of the work you’ve put it and the mentality you have. Really wonderful.

@edikotope I don't do 100 at a time. I do 30, 30, 30 and 10. 100 in one go will probably kill me🤣🤣🤣 I do as many as I can. Take a break and do as many as I can an hour or so later. My office has become my "gym" 🤣🤣🤣 You and I are going to make it. Watch this space👊

That’s awesome. Thanks for the tip. 100 a day! I’ll try get there in sets of cause. We can do this.

I love this.. so inspiring! I just cant " live" life with I'm constantly on a diet. but this mentality and way of thinking is exciting. thank you for sharing and freaking well done!!

I am struggling so much at the moment with weight loss.... I came to your page for motivation. Any words of wisdom? I still need to lose more than 10kgs... Was hoping to have dropped it by December... I feel demotivated

@Christell91 You are going to feel demotivated at some point in this journey. It's a human response. You're body is craving sugar and empty carbohydrates. You are fighting YOURSELF here. Don't spend to much time on how you feel and what you see. Reacting to our emotions is how we got overweight in the first place.🤣 This has been done and can be done. Better still: YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Your feelings play no part in this. No matter how you feel: Show up, dress up and get it done. YOU CAN DO THIS. Please keep me posted on your progress.

When I was at that low point I felt like I’d never get up again. But I did and two things I’d like to share with you is 1) Be kind to yourself 2) Forgive yourself. Pick up from where you fell and move on. It can take a bit of time though which in itself is expected and okay. Once you take another step forward and keep taking those steps you’ll feel great about yourself again. All the best.
