First day of Core Synergistics tonight for P90X. It was harder than it seems it should have been. Had more trouble keeping up with that than the other cardio workouts. BUT I gave it a good effort, so....it can only go up from here, right?

Yeah, it's called a "recovery" week but mostly that means replacing the strength training and super-intense cardio with...different cardio.
I think the idea is to let your muscles recuperate and regrow, while you cardio off some more body fat, so you look better for the "day 30" photograph :)
