how can i have weighed 218 on 10/18 and i step on the scale after my conference and i weight 229?????? my plans did not work out and i ate a bunch of shit but i tried to be decent and eat 1/2 portions etc but omg it was not good. i tried to walk extra and not take the bus also. i want to kill myself to be honest. i'm not doing a formal weigh in right now in case that is water weight or who knows what but i may have to start over. i worked so hard this sucks big time.

It could easily be water weight due to salt/sugar. I understand how you feel, we put so much hard work in and it feels like it can all be undone in one error. But hang in there! Chug water for a few days and you’ll be back on track.

It probably IS water weight. I always add a few pounds of it when I travel. Believe it or not, the best thing you can do for water weight is drink more water. I swear! You're supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces of water anyway. It will flush out anything that the extra salts, sugars, are hanging onto. You can do this. You're doing such a great job :)

They are right. Probably water weight caused by stress. Gotta love the cortisol.
