Had a mixed bag of a day today. But by the end of the day, I heard horrible news. My landlord has asked me to vacate the premises because he's successfully sold it. I have been living here for the last 6 years and even have a yearly broadband contract. I even have a newspaper subscription that lasts for another year. Ditto for a couple of other things too.
On the other hand, I am looking for a change in jobs. But that hasn't yielded any results. I know this is very off topic, but I'm very worried.
What should I do? Should I look for a place nearby and wait until I get a job to change places again? Or should I wait for a job offer? And what happens if I get a job offer in another city? Any advice would be helpful!

Your newspaper and broadband contrcts are probably transferable to a new address. How soon are you moving? I guess you could determine how close you are to a job offer vs. how soon you need to vacate the house. I am sure you will make a good decision - try not to worry too much as these things have a way of working out!

Thanks for replying. I'm just feeling so jittery. I just gave a test for one offer that is in another city while I still need to go to an interview for another offer in the same city. The newspaper thing has coupons that I will try and get back but am not sure of the broadband subscription. I guess I will change to somewhere nearby for now and decide what to do for another move later. :(
