I'm continuing to work on changing up the exercise. This morning it was 30 minutes on the elliptical and then some weights and upper body strengthening for about 15 minutes. I can tell I am definitely using some different muscle groups - my arms and legs were already sore this morning from yesterday's workout. It's a good feeling though - makes me realize I have been limiting which muscle groups I was working with cycling. I put my handweights in a decorative basket by the TV - this will be a good reminder to use these when I'm sitting around in the evenings!

My husband fixed my elliptical this winter - it was much too easy. It turned out to be quite a job, he tore it completely apart and did some welding on a part, etc. OMG - did he fix it! The tension is so high now - what a workout! I hate to ask him to take it apart and lower the tension so I'll put up with it - it will be good for me!
