So I'm on to another diet, does that surprize you?????? I can across 'Body for LIfe" I read it a few years ago and just bought the new book, my husband would kill me if he new because I just bought the atkins about 2 weeks ago. I jsut have a hard time to believe eating real foods will make me lose weight,(I've been brainwashed too long!) So I read the book and it leads me to believe I'm not eating enough (although if you say my belly ripples and thighs,etc) you'd know I wasn't missing a meal. THe pictures in this book are amazing. I work out 6 days a week and it doesn't show! I'm on that elliptical for 35 minutes burning 400 calories and I'm working out too much for the amount of foods I'm eating. The book says 6 small meals a day of both protein and carbs. ANd it also says to give your self 12 weeks, I just ask for willpower. Has anyone tried this diet yet?

I've been doing pretty good but for some reason I've fallen off the wagon. As of last night I've eaten cereal at around 8:00pm then a bag of chip ahoys, 2 slices of bread toasted with molasses, a huge glass of milk, then apple cider and 2 rice cakes. Today, I started out with another bowl of cereal, 2 rice cakes a fiber granola bar, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a bran muffin from the bakery, chips and to top it off I opened a can of evaporated (the sweet milk) milk! It's only 4:30 I still have supper and what else I can eat, I seriously just can't stop!!!!! See, I've already told myself I can't do atkins cause I have told myself it's not realistic for me, (Just another excuse!) So I researched more diets and found another on, Body For Life and got he book and said I'll start that when I'm done reading it cause I know I can follow this one(said one to many times.) So in the meantime I eat cause I figure I'll really lose all of it once I start this new diet so that's why I can cheat now. I hate that, it's the same old story and I know how to lose JUST STOP PUTTING CRAP INTO YOUR MOUTH!!!!! But why can't I just do one diet and stick with it and make it work! I want a quick fix and I know there isn't one but I"m hoping one of these books I'll find one. How do I stop feeling sorry, whip the last crumb off and start a new diet???
