Doing good! I didn't weigh on Sunday because I wasn't home but this morning I had lost that one pound that had come and then lost another with it! So I've now lost 7lbs in 7 days :) I did struggle a bit this weekend craving chocolate. A little bag of M&M almost got devoured by my bf helped me stay strong. I also had a bridal shower for a good friend on Sunday but was able to stay away from all the sweets and anything not allowed. Luckily they had shrimp squewers and little pieces of salmon that I could eat. I did eat before so that helped.
Here is to week number 2!

6 pounds in 3 days... wow. I haven't even been working out yet! I have a personal training session tonight so we'll see what that does to the scale. I'm ahead of where I'd thought I'd be so far. I definitely don't want to be losing muscle so doing the south beach diet with weight training should get me pretty ripped!
I'm eating perfectly too. Today my entire office got Papa John's pizza (my favorite brand!!) with a chocolate dessert and I have to admit.. it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Did I want some? yes. Did I have to have it? not really. I want to do this right so I'm focused. It helps to know this isn't forever. 2 weeks then I get to add some things in. My calories are pretty low though, monday definitely too low, but I'm not that hungry.

Yesterday went great! The only problem is I still record my calories, fat, protein, and carbs, and I was way under on cals. I only ate 760 (out of a goal around 1300). I'm sure that, and becoming 'regular' again contributed to the 3.2 pounds lost in one day. I had only bought half the food so now that I have it all (went shopping again at lunch) I should be able to eat well but not fall to far under.
I have personal training at 5pm so I need to make sure I have the energy. I'm hitting that mid day slump right now. I need to make sure I get more sleep tonight since I have to be at work at 7:15am again tomorrow.
Water intake was good too. No exercise besides grocery shopping (its amazing how that adds up especially since I spend a hour walking around).

Let's get this started!
I have a trainer right now. I'm pretty knowledgable on food and fitness and am not fat but would like to get to my ultimate goal. I gained a good 10 pounds 5-6 months ago and I've been having trouble losing it despite having a trainer since September 20th and eating rather well. This past weekend I went out of town and ate crap so my weight is probably inflated a bit so I'd expect to lose a couple pounds quickly.
This morning I was thinking about what I could do differently and I thought that I should try being strict on myself for a while. I was trying to eat well while also living normally (eating not so great stuff once in a while and drinking) but maybe I need this first. I'll add alcohol back soon but my goal is to get through the first two weeks perfectly. That means no halloween candy and drinks!
