Dual med Apptm knocked out the entire day, snuck in a weigh in. Have upcoming Telehealth w/nutritionist. I will get a gentle scolding for no moment on the scale. I'll have to fess up all the no good I've been up to, She makes me accountable, we're getting to the point of our relationship where I don't want to disappoint. I hope to get to the point where I don't need another person make me accountable.
9:51pm. Just closed the kitchen.
I hope to have window to squeeze in a 1.5 mile walk tomorrow. Need to prep better for meals under 30 min.
There was some healthy stuff on the plate, malabar spinach, bitter melon, cabbage. Not so healthy, Air fried mini mini wings, no sodium.
Somehow I'm still over 2600mg. Have to get better so less knee pain.
Does anyone use compression sock or anything? Does it work?

Hubs wants red meat. Dinner will be outside skirt steak simply grilled on cast iron skillet. A little Salt & pepper. Hard part, removing silver skin & trimming all the extra fat. A little green goddess sauce. Side of Sautee Napa cabbage.
Ah the smell of grilling meat was sweet torture. I had an 1 oz. Saved the other oz. for Steak & Eggs in the am.
Nope it's not meatless Monday.
Short walk today, barely a mile.
Learned something new today from fitness guru friend. Apparently, it can take a few weeks for the body to catch up to changes in diet & exercise.
A single bagel is my entire day of carb allowance : (
Once my body's metabolism kick start it's easier to keep it moving in the right direction. Now need to kick start again.
CICO. Do not go over. It's been a slippery slope.

Mental game warm up. Mini break is almost over. It's going to get busy again.
Projects & day to day requires better planning of healthful food. Junk food & instant noodle no longer an option.
Healthful fav food list; Stuffed grape leaves, anything cabbage, any type of cabbage. crispy air fryer chickpeas, mushroom, hummus. Fall greens
Can't wait for apple season, homemade baked apple granola crisp to replace apple pie breakfast addiction.
Will try another split the difference. 1/2 tofu, single egg scramble for brunch.
Skip breakfast, just coffee with oatmilk & coffee mate.
Still need better, easy, put on a plate breakfast food so I don't disturb light sleeper in my house.
Do not give into urge to buy coffee mate even though it's on sale.
Mindful eating again away from the computer screen.
I miss salad season, so much easier. Did Peach season come & go?
No more big bag of skinny popcorn in the house. Skinny popcorn not so skinny when not eaten in moderation. Individual size portions are safer. Banning big bag of Ms. Vicki potato chips.
Navigating holidays.
The mid-autumn festival is coming up 09/24. Childhood memories of family moonlight picnics in the park. Forgotten happy memories of lanterns in shapes of koi or bunny.
Today, we are oceans & miles apart. We use social media, calls to connect, eat moon cake.
We love our adopted country and we celebrate new traditions. But it's time remember our roots & share our traditions not just through food, so they are not completely forgotten.
Research how to make lanterns in animal shapes...
