Gained 3 lbs this week and two the last so not doing good at all. I am really sick right now. I would think the scale would be going down instead of up with me being as sick as I am. I'm full of congestion in the head a chest but really haven't been eating a whole lot only because I haven't been feeling really hungry. I hope this doesn't continue :(

Don't let it get to you, it will move back down soon. Drink plenty of fluids, and I hope you feel better soon.

If you have a bug, the bloating could be related to that. I was sick with a tummy flu for 2 weeks and gained 5 pounds. It really ticked me off, so don't lose heart. Keep doing soup and crackers and applesauce without sugar and hang in there. It will come off.

It's like when you have a cold your body goes in to freeze mode where it hoards everything to make sure it has what it needs to "fix" you. Just get back to it once you rest yourself and those pounds will disappear...they aren't even real.

Don't worry about the gain, once you are healthy it will come off again. Could be related to the extra fluids you are carrying from the congestion and such. Just keep hydrated and feel better!

Ugh, Christina. I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Get better... take lots of hot baths, and drink tons of tea (maybe with some honey and / or lemon)! I hope you feel better FAST, and we're here for you. ;) Like everyone is saying, don't worry about the weight, it's probably mostly water retention. It'll drop quickly when you're better.

Sorry Christina. The weight gain is most likely temporary; your body trying to hold onto liquids and nutrition. If you can, try to drink tons of water and nutritious liquids - tea, vegetable broth or stock. Hope you feel better. Oh - and also sugar free popsicles!

Thanks guys! Spent the night on the bathroom floor the night before last and then to bed all day and night after I could get to the bed. Just feeling really spaced out today and so sore from straining myself trying to get this crap out of me. Will stay close to bed today and try to eat something today. Oh I forgot now that Lizcerri mentioned that I do have some Boost in the frig. Thanks for the support, my hubby gets mad at me if I'm sick, because he knows he won't get any nooky... ( such an a**ho** ) Next post should be something positive... have a great day everyone, it's beautiful out today!!!

Shouldn't be mad at you because you are sick. Don't worry much about your weight loss eat nutrient dense foods to help your body heal and rest.

Starting to feel better.... one day at a time. Haven't been keeping any kinda of food log but will try some light excercise today.
