Well YAY! It's a loss :) I can't say that I'm not disappointed though, I was hoping for something more dramatic. But a pound is a pound! It was a bit more than a pound, 1.2 to be precise, but I round down because the math is easier without the fractions. I fasted completely yesterday, mainly because my ketones were down, but I kind of expected that due to the carb spike on Saturday. I still call it a win! You guys have a great day!

When I push myself and have a few great days, there will be a loss and then for a few days after I'll continue to have losses. Like setting myself up for success. The opposite is also true...slip up a few times in a row and I will see gains for a few days...It WAS discouraging until I figured what was up. I'm just so stinkin happy to have started losing and knowing where I'm heading, I'm not sweating the "how"! I tried an experiment myself with extended fasting and learned some new things, guess I will post about them later this week. The sun is shining now and I better make hay :)

You are a winner! It's interesting that you observed your ketosis & were intentional about keeping the fat burning by fasting all day. That takes determination and perseverance. Hanging in there is hard - but pays off, even if it is in ounces too.

Any LOSS is FANTASTIC! - it's way too easy for the numbers to go in the OPPOSITE direction...... Been there done that oh so many times.
