I am 58 years young, and have been overweight for a good part of my life. I am married with 2 children. They both are married, and we have one little granddaughter. I recently found out that I was boarderline diabetic, so thats why I started the Atkins. I am doing fairly good, but I know I could do better. I have never been one to exercise, and I know that is my biggest downfall. I work full time as a Lab Tech. and sometimes have some stressfull days. That makes me want to eat! I do alot of cooking and baking on Saturdays, for the following week. It seems to help me alot. I always have something good to eat in the house, and try alot of different recipes, so I don't get bored with the same food. I don't have alot of friends, and I sometimes think it would be good to have people to talk to, that are dieting and going through the same issues. I also like country music, my husband once played in a band with our son. He was the lead singer and our son played lead guitar. It was so much fun, but the years have passed and they no longer have the band, and our son moved away. And so on and so on, enough about me, Have a great day everyone!
