Another day... lol

I took my oldest baby to register for High School today! OMG!! I am simply just not that old! lol Her birthday is Saturday and she will be 14 already. Time has gone by so quickly....sigh...

I woke up feeling fat again today but I put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in a couple weeks because of the heat and VIOLA...they are kinda baggy :) So that was a nice boost. I haven't weighed because I know when I am about to start my period I always gain and I just don't want to see it on the scale. Once I start, I'll brave it again...lol.

I just feel better today than yesterday, not near as cranky either thank God! I even annoy myself when I am so moody. :)

This week is crazy busy, have a meeting to go to both tonight and tomorrow night and my daughter's bday party on Saturday, school shopping, and the list goes on. This is a crazy time of year.

Had a great day today with the kids and their friends at the Red Bull Frugtag! Walked quite a distance to and from the harbor and carried my 41 lb son several blocks as well. (phew my body aches...lol) I feel like I worked out like crazy.

I feel so bloated as it is pretty close to the wonderful time of the month. :( I am hoping for a good drop in the next day or two as soon as I start. I have felt like eating constantly this week but have not given in to the urge.

I HAVE stayed more to the upper part of my daily calories and even allowed myself to go a little over a couple days but that is ok. There are many days when I stay down in the 1000 calorie range as well so it all evens out I think. I really try not to stess too much about the exact numbers. I log EVERYTHING I eat and I know if I go over it is usually because I had an extra latte (nonfat and sugar free) or the occasional drink and I sometimes just need to do that :) In the past if I was going to drink or have the calories from coffee I would eat less food. While that isn't a bad idea if I am doing it all the time, not eating enough calories from food usually has detrimental effects on my hunger the following days and I end up WAY overeating. It is amazing what we learn when we just pay attention to our bodies huh?

Anyway... I am going to take some motrin, relax, and enjoy the rest of my weekend. Goodnight everyone.
