My parents didn't allow me to have sweets even juice until I was about 7. I don't have much of a sweet tooth except for fruits and don't like chocolate🤷♀️ Interesting to hear that it is not just me!

Awww! You guys are so dear! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I passed on the birthday greetings to my girl! We also had her favorite meal she has asked me to make since she was probably 8 years old. Wifey, our poor babies are winter kids. All but one of my five kids were born within six weeks of Christmas! It was such poor planning! 😁 No, I wasn't born in Canada, but arrived by my third birthday. Having spent so much time north of the states, I spell things the British way if I'm not careful, I say things "wrong" according to many, and I'm asked frequently where I am from. 😁

Chris, I was hoping you forgot! I guess I better get busy and order that custard powder so I can make some. I am so out of practice! They will probably be horrible, but like my mom always used to say, "Put fat and sugar together and what is not to like." Seeing some of the lame stuff you put into your body, I don't think you will mind how they taste.
