Poured us a nice cup of prunella tea. It may be in my head, but I feel better already. Started prepping dinner so ut can be ready in 20 min. Hubs does not have control over his glucose levels yet. It's a rollercoaster ride still, me along with it. T2dB get serious mood swings. Dinner has to be ready on time or the Hangry comes out. These glucose monitoring systems help but they aren't always correct. Need more education on T2D to help him.

Airfried garden greenbeans with Gyoza for hub's late lunch. Felt too guilt, he would eat canned soup if I didn't cook. Really want to avoid can food.
He ate 1 1/2 serving I had a 1/2 serving. He needs to gain, I need to lose weight. That means I have to cook at least 5 days a week, unless our schedule doesn't allow it. I really need to get back to batch cooking. But it's summer and I don't want to be in the kitchen. 🤓

Waiting for this 🥴light headedness to go away. I want to make some tzatziki sauce with all the cukes sitting in the veggie bin. Pickling will have to wait another day.😔

Feeling a bit off today. Strangely light headed. Got up at 530am, my body clock getting back to normal. I used to wake before the sunrise. Very light am chores, made coffee, lite breakfast.
Hungry 2 hours later. Early light lunch of leftover salmon ribs, Skinny pop, Dessert 1 medjool date.
No greens yet. Just didn't feel like it. Feel like a soup day. But, feels too muggy to make soup.
Maybe watermelon salad for the next meal.
I feel quilty, but not up for cooking lunch. Hubs is the better cook, a natural. Should've been a chef, but there's no money unless you're a celebrity chef or if you really love it. Hubs is retired & doesn't really want to cook anything more than steel cut oatmeal or eggs. I'm a good cook if I want to be. But, if I'm having an off day, you may want to just eat the salad. I can do salads sleep cooking.
I don't know to cook three course meals and eat light.
I'm amazed at the women who can feed their family well and be happy and slim around all that food. Have many chef friends who are slim. Really really jealous that they don't have cravings and they're full after a plate of salad.
Me a salad is a palate cleanser. Just kidding, I can have a salad as a meal, but it has to be garden to plate. Otherwise I want to load it up b/c it taste like faux food.
I'm spoiled, grew up in HK, metro girl with access to fresh produce, eggs, meat. Early am trips to the market daily w/grandmother. Cooked fresh daily, no leftover. Never felt hungry. Didn't feel deprived even though portions like dim sum or tapas portions.
Fresh never been frozen taste completely different. I remember when organic food was just called food.

Spicy stir-fried only 140 kcal for 2 oz. Takes about a week to go thru a box. This is low cal haven. If I can only stick to using it in a salad.
