Not logging, and still maintaining... would probably be losing if it weren't for TOM. Oh well such is life. Been pretty busy since adopting 3 8 week old kittens. They keep me busy. Was bad about exercise over the holiday weekend- Out of town guest that was only interested in going out to eat and sight seeing from the car. Got back to exercise on Tuesday.

It was actually difficult to NOT record my calories. I am ever mindful of how I am eating so this little experiment is to see if I can really sustain the fitness train without thinking too hard about it. I want to know how ingrained it has become. I will resume logging calories if I put on weight. I figure as long as I lose or stay within a pound or two of where I am I will be fine. I also think I might be adding more muscle so i will be watching my body as well as the scale to make my determination of success, after all, I would gladly accept an additional lb or two on the scale if I managed to lose inches. The ultimate goal is not so much a number on the scale as a certain look in the mirror. When I look the way I want to look I will make a note of my weight and maintain + or - 2 lbs. I still have a ways to go for the mirror to tell me to stop (I seem to have this stubborn belly fat that is taking its time to leave me) but I am in it for the long haul and know that as long as I am eating healthy and exercise regularly that I will win the battle of the bulge eventually. I feel great and am loving life! I don't need to be a super model, I'll be perfectly happy being a fit middle aged woman.
