Week one of 16/8 is in the books. I offically hit my 185 goal yesterday! I'm really happy with how things are going, Since changing over to a daily fast I have had to up my calories a little to try to find a balance. I adjusted my goal weight to 180 and plan to increase my caloires until I see slower weight loss. I was eating around 1700 to 1800 calories daily. I plan to increase that to 2000 on non workout days and to about 2500 on workout days. I'll do that for a week or so and see how it plays out.
It has been hard to make it to the gym over the last few days. Life seems to keep getting in the way… lol. I plan to get in a workout today around lunchtime.

I had a great workout last night. I had a great pump and had a ton of energy. I have been working out in a fasted state but last night went after a couple of meals. My post workout weight was 181 and my waking wait is a couple lbs more daily. Things are going really well, I just need to tweak my meals a little and increase my calories. Yesterday I ate just over 1800 and woke up pretty hungry.
Tonight I'm planning on not being able to do a 16 hour fast because I'm going to drink some beers and maybe even enjoy some naught food. Nothing crazy just a tiny break.
I hope to get to the gym late this morning for some fasted training.

I upped my calories over the last two days and still seem to be dropping weight. This morning the scale said 183, I'll keep slowly increasing my calories to find my maintenance number. I have a feeling it will be around 2600 on workout days and about 2000 on non workout days.
Probably will not be able to hit the gym today, I'm on Daddy duty with a sick kid. The good news is that we will get some quality time : ). Tomorrow, I'm headed out ice fishing and will be drinking some beers. I'll be able to take my food with me but not sure what the extra calories from the beers will do. I'll adjust my meals to give me some wiggle room.
I must say that the 16 hour daily fasting period is a little tougher than I expected…Also have to say that 3 meals per day is great, but working in all the food is tough in an 8 hour window. Overall so far I'm happy with how things are going.
